Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.

It is a mini villa indeed, but we love it. Small, cosy, excellent location. Easy walking distance to Anita's restaurant for some fresh smoked sea trout. The owner is very nice, he helped us to check the boat departure time and keep in mind that you are staying in a mini villa, so it is not a gigantic house.

amazing place, very cozy & comfortable rooms, nice sauna & hot tub, delicious food
The location is perfect for exploring Reine and the nearby places! Really easy to get there by car. The cottage was very clean, cozy, and the views were spectacular. Their sauna was perhaps the prettiest I've ever been to.
Very clean and cozy cottage. Free access to kayaks and sauna was definitely the highlight.
The position of the hotel is beautiful and so idyllic, especially with northern lights just above. The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view and underfloor heating - cosy when it’s so cold outside! We were on our honeymoon and were upgraded to a cabin from a standard design suite for no extra cost which was amazing! The owner is so friendly and really knows how to make guests welcome. Tasty breakfast too!
The sauna was greatly appreciated by my girlfriend. The view was breathtaking. The cabin was spacious and cosy, could not have hope for a better place.
Beautiful lodges in an even more beuatiful landscape on the beach with mountain view. Very uncomplicated booking and check-in, big kitchen and cozy livingroom with fireplace. Perfect for a longer stay as well.
Spacious Cabin with most amazing views and sauna with everything you need for a self catering stay away. We travelled as a family of 5 and the accommodation was perfect for us, great communication with owners and breathtaking views of the water and mountains. Have been so lucky to observe northen lights for all 3 nights of our stay here as well. Would recommend the place to everyone.
We stayed at a very cozy cabin just by the lake. The view was breathtaking and the sauna (costs 100 NOK per person) was splendid. The receptionist was kind, and the toilets were clean. The common areas were dark (only one lamp on one side of the room), but the interior was nice! The parking is free.
We loved pretty much everything! From the cozy lounge to the bar and drinks to the kind staff! Our room was very clean and with a nice view. There’s a kitchen for guests where you could cook your own meal and eat it in the common aerea with a fireplace! There is also a hot tube and sauna on a pier on the fiord. The location is 10/15 minutes from Svolvaer center but we loved being outside. You also have the chance to see the northern lights from your room. Free parking on the property.
We stayed in a cosy cabin. It has been lovingly restored and contains many authentic artefacts. We met the gentlemen who owns the cabin. It was delightful to chat to him about the history of the cabin. It was charming, comfortable and clean but most of all it was a homely Norwegian place to stay.
