Nice Bungalows, you will wake up with all the jungle sounds. Very clean bathroom.
The host lady is such a sweet heart! The place is clean, colorful, cozy, in the heart of Flores island. The bed is comfy, you can cook in the kitchen, there is a fridge and water refill is free of charge
Wonderful hotel. The villas on the water are suberb, the hot tub is a huge plus. Service is good, we enjoyed room service. Breakfast was good, but not impressive. The dinner was okay- not perfect.
Set right in the jungle, the bungalow was spacious, clean and bright and right by the ruins and lots wildlife and toucans! Outstanding restaurant on site
This was a very cosy and lively hostel - full of young backpackers, big restaurant with a bar and great interiod decor in the middle of Flores island. The room had nice decor as well and had internal terrace (entrance was in the garden). They offered many different tours in Guatemala (a bit pricey) and recommended where to find laundry or orher nice restaurants.
We booked a private cabin for the two of us and loved it. It was comfortable, clean and a really cool “waking up in the jungle”-experience. We could hear the monkeys in the morning and watch black squirrels climb around. The girls from the reception/restaurant were always there for questions and the food was very good… we would always come back. Also the beautiful lake is really just a few meters away with a wooden Pier, where you can chill and swim.
I enjoyed being on the site of the Mayan ruins and they offered tour guides from the hotel. I like that I had a cottage in the forest with open air windows so you could hear the sounds of the jungle at night. The set up of the room was cozy and had everything you needed. The staff was helpful and kind.
Comfortable, clean and good shower pressure. 6 minute walk to park entrance. Friendly staff who genuinely wanted to help. Tip - Stay here instead of the Jungle Lodge - it's nice but 3 times the price. However, go to the Jungle Lodge for their breakfast. We also booked a sunset tour with Jungle Lodge at $15pp and it was really worth it.
We loved everything about this place, lovely bungalow with patio for bird and animal watching. New comfortable bed with the best sheets. Very friendly helpful staff, they are trialling solar which worked well, water refill stations which is great reducing plastic. fantastic deep pool which is a must in that heat after you have walked miles around the ruins in that heat. Would loved to have stayed 2 nights but they were full
This place is so beautiful. Plenty of hammocks for enjoying the pristine kept space. Very nice restaurant with delicious food. Private and cozy paradise.
