Our short break stay in this lovely home was very comfortable. It is beautifully presented throughout and had everything we needed. Of the bedrooms available, we used the two double rooms (one for us parents and the other for our teen). There were plenty of quality furnishings and we appreciated the little blanket throws that we could use with our dog for cuddles on the sofa. Situated in a residential street of terraced houses it was still a quiet space and the road outside was not noisy at all. It had a community park / tennis courts directly opposite with a lovely backdrop of the hills and trees in the valley. A short way along to the end of the road was also a ramblers footpath (handy for a dog walk). Also, just a few minutes drive down the road was the stunning 'Guardian of the Valley' sculpture which was a moving memorial to see. The location of the house was also great to visit Goytre Wharf on the edge of the Brecon Beacons (about 25 mins drive). There was also a large Tesco in Abertillery which had everything we needed. The local people we met and chatted with were very friendly.

It’s a lovely, cozy, little cabin. Nicely tucked away you wouldn’t know it’s there unless you knew about it. Loved the whole stay, even though it rained most the time, just sitting on the porch listening to the rain and the birds. And it’s close enough to areas to drive and see different attractions
The cottage was very clean and cosy. It has everything you need and is a great location close enough to explore the Brecon Beacons but also in a very secluded spot with views over the hills. The facilities were really good and it really was a home from home for me and my daughter. Would highly recommend
A lovely cottage and a great place to go for a little R & R. Very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was spotless and there was milk, coffee, tea and welshcakes left for our arrival. The host- Oriel, is warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Short walk to the local pub which serves piping hot meals . Plenty of walks around if you have the weather. Would highly recommend going there if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and work 👍👍👍
Lovely cottage and real peace and quiet
Loved the attention to detail in and around the cabin. Lovely little cabin, so cosy and warm! Feel so secluded, just what we was after for a night away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The cabin itself was beautiful and really well decorated. It was cosy and in a great location.
Everything was perfect. The cottage was in a beautiful location and so cosy.
We loved the cosy vibe of the cabin. Especially the fireplace and bbq area.
lovely cottage that felt really private. views were awesome and the place was immaculate. Perfect for us after our wedding to chill out in the hot tub, and have cosy wood fires at night playing games.
