It is a wonderful alternative to the hectic Salento. The owner was really nice and drove us to the Cocora Valley in the morning to avoid the crowds. We did not have a car but it was not a problem at all to get to the hotel as there are local and safe taxis available. The food is delicious and home made (with vegan or vegeterian options), rooms are spacious and clean, staff attentive and helpful. If you are searching for peaceful place to relax and enjoy the nature and local hospitality it is definitely a place to go.

The host Renato was extremely helpful and responsive . so nice to stay in a real house after lots of hotels on our travels round Colombia.

The country house features some units that have a terrace and mountain view, and each unit has a private bathroom and a wardrobe. All units at the country house are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. it is a peaceful area but the attention was even better. i wish I could have stay one more day to enjoy the area better. the road is bad but you can drive without any problem . you do not need off road vehicle . they will the best to take if you . many thanks

Casa de la Ciencia also includes a hot tub and terrace. 2 Shared kitchens are available. Wow, I would give this place 11/10 if possible. Rubiela, the property owner is a very sweet and kind lady who is just living her best life. She gave us a warm welcome throughout the check-in process, and gave us a lot of useful information on how to organize our itinerary for the next few days. The room and bed was so comfortable. Showers and toilets were clean - and hot water with great water pressure. The location of the place was perfect too it was close enough to walk to the main street, but just far enough so that it's nice and quiet (away from the noise). Laundry can also be done with her for a fair price, very nice bonus.
