Wow, where to start! Holden Manz is an oasis of tranquillity and peace enclosed by the warmth of a family-driven winery and fantastic staff! All was beyond our expectation, from the attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the food and the extra touches that made us feel spoiled: such as finding a sweet card and little chocolate treats when coming back to the room. We were welcomed with complementary wine and, when we went out for dinner, we were asked if we would have liked to find the fireplace started to find the room a bit warmer. We felt very welcome also thanks to the family members, that we met and that always respected our need for space, while making available all the facilities (including the family living room) to us.

Everything about this property was incredible. The hosts were so interesting to chat to and gave us a lot of information about Franschhoek. Conveniently located across the road and one street up from the Wine Tram. The garden is a beautiful setting with citrus trees and a cute little corner to catch the afternoon sun if you're having a relaxing day.
The breakfasts are definitely worth a mention, a lovely selection of fresh fruit and cereal and with further freshly prepared dishes such as pastries, french toast, scrambled egg bagels, or whatever else is on the menu that day!
Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone going to Franschhoek and I will certainly be back on my next visit!

The property was amazing, you could smell the cleanliness and the furniture was spot on. There was backups generators that kept us warm even when the lights were out. The women was amazing, she helped us with everything and even had a service for our laundry. Would 100% come again and recommend. Also there was river osmosis aswell!!!!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in the centre of Franschhoek. The cottage has a quaint and cosy feel to it. The fireplace was a nice extra on a very cold evening. They also have electric blankets on the beds which was amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Located on a wonderful farm property,on the left as you approach the town. I felt like I was somewhere in the countryside of France. It's rustic and charming and unpretentious. We stayed in the main common area upstairs in a loft room, which was cozy with a fireplace. The bed slept well with a luxurious open bath tub and lovely large patio area, which looked out onto huge trees and different mountains views. The staff felt like family and made us feel so welcome. It was a wonderful short stay, and we would definitely consider it again.
Beautiful historic farmhouse in the most charming part of the valley. You feel the love and care that goes in every detail. We loved the first floor big suite under the thatched roof with the cool breeze. Wonderful breakfast.

Self catering cottage on the Chamonix Lodge estate. Prettily perched above the main lodge with access to the main homestead and swimming pool below the main lodge. Recently re-thatched with spacious air-conditioned bedroom studio, en-suite bathroom, basic kitchenette, beautiful dining room table and 2 chairs.
Honestly the most beautiful and charming little cottage in a wonderful spot. The cottage was clean - had lovely smeg appliances, a fantastic view and only a few minutes from town. We especially loved the fire wood hot tub and the braii on the front stoop. We loved how they use the offcuts of the vines for firewood. We will be back!!!
The property has beautiful views, and the cottage is cozy. The fireplace and gas heater kept us warm. The hot tub was a great feature, but it did take 4 hours to heat up, not 1.5 as stated in the instructions. It was very cold which probably played a role though. Some lights still worked during load shedding and there was a small gas stove for use during load shedding, which was all useful. There was a bottle of Courchevel rosé in the fridge which we enjoyed!
We stayed over Heritage Day long weekend. Everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very cozy indoors, with the fireplace lit. Beautiful grounds. A fifteen minute walk into town. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Our stay was very good. Lovely cottage with fireplace, very cosy feel. The wine farm provides a tour of the vineyards and wine tasting. There is a lovely farm shop for all your goodies. We received a welcome basket with some lovely treats.
Tranquil and secluded location with exceptional views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped for self catering, with a great BBQ and outdoor fire pit, log burning hot tub and open fireplace in the lounge. The outdoor sitting area is spacious and enjoyable to take in the views, see the horses in the paddock and watch the sunset. Conveniently located to Franschhoek for the amenities and great restaurants. Did enjoy the excellent rose from the vineyard too.
