All units come with a terrace with mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, and a private bathroom with shower. A fireplace is offered in all units. The units include a wardrobe. We stayed in the “Eau de Vie” cottage, and check-in was easy. The cottage was clean and modern, and cosy at night. Beds very comfy. The front of the cottage had an amazing view of the vineyards and mountains. Peaceful and calm (apart from the sometimes noisy birds!). The host was kind enough to fill up the wood-fired hot tub which we enjoyed in the evening, while cooking a bbq. Perfect few days - we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in the centre of Franschhoek. The cottage has a quaint and cosy feel to it. The fireplace was a nice extra on a very cold evening. They also have electric blankets on the beds which was amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Located on a wonderful farm property,on the left as you approach the town. I felt like I was somewhere in the countryside of France. It's rustic and charming and unpretentious. We stayed in the main common area upstairs in a loft room, which was cozy with a fireplace. The bed slept well with a luxurious open bath tub and lovely large patio area, which looked out onto huge trees and different mountains views. The staff felt like family and made us feel so welcome. It was a wonderful short stay, and we would definitely consider it again.
A secluded gem away from the hustle and bustle of the town with all the things one needs. A great place to relax with your partner amid the rolling hills above Montagu. Definitely one of the more romantic and unique properties around. Loved the outside hot tub, the fireplace and the braai area. The open plan setup allows for wonderful morning light and memorable sunsets. Very cozy for winter weekend getaways. The complimentary bottle of bubbly was much appreciated and Willem was such an attentive host.
We loved our stay in the cottage. The hosts are welcoming and charming. The set up is bucolic and the surroundings beautiful. The place was clean, cozy and warm. The bedding and the fireplace were on point. We highly recommend!
The property has beautiful views, and the cottage is cozy. The fireplace and gas heater kept us warm. The hot tub was a great feature, but it did take 4 hours to heat up, not 1.5 as stated in the instructions. It was very cold which probably played a role though. Some lights still worked during load shedding and there was a small gas stove for use during load shedding, which was all useful. There was a bottle of Courchevel rosé in the fridge which we enjoyed!
The cottage is cute, cozy , romantic, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the views and the roaming horses moving around the cottage in the evening and the morning. The fireplace was a hit and created the perfect ambiance. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we need. The bed was very comfy and big. We enjoyed walking to the restaurants and shops, and everyone greeted us with friendliness. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Next time for a bit longer. Thank you for the great stay.
Our stay was very good. Lovely cottage with fireplace, very cosy feel. The wine farm provides a tour of the vineyards and wine tasting. There is a lovely farm shop for all your goodies. We received a welcome basket with some lovely treats.
Spectacular hot tub under the Karoo stars!! Beds were comfy and cosy. Cutest stone cottage with the most beautiful views and sunsets. This place is food for the soul, for nature lovers and adventurers.
We liked everything anout this place, specialy the fireplace. Enjoyed quality coffee and rusk at the fireplace, good quality matras, bedding and towels that made the stay so much relaxing. This is a very nice cozy place for a romantic getaway and we had a good rest. Will defnitely recommend The Karoo Moon Cottage
