The apartment was very homely. It was a home away from home. The staff were very friendly, respectful and professional. They were always available to help. The apartment had a standby generator which ensured we always had electricity. They had security men who took shifts and made us feel.secured. They had a lady who came in everyday to clean and the bedsheets and other linen were changed after 48hours(which was quite impressive). The host was also very accessible, came in everyday to see how we were doing and was available to ensure we were able to check-in at 3.30am after a delayed flight. They also extended our check-out time to 4.30pm for free. It was indeed a wonderful experience and I would recommend this apartment for anyone going to Freetown. I would definitely stay here when next in Freetown.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Jam Lodge is the perfect choice for a stay in Freetown. Conveniently located, it has all necessary amenities: Clean, spacious rooms with a/c, comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom, fridge microwave etc. Surprisingly, my room was the quietest I ever had in Salone. Staff is friendly, a good breakfast is served on the balcony and Wi-Fi works well. And you can pay with credit card which I found extremely helpful.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming guest house for a night, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. I had a restful night's sleep and awoke to a beautiful breakfast. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Best hotel we stayed at in Sierra Leone. Great location, well equipped rooms with good AC. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff. The hotel manager was amazing. We had some problems with our PCR test prior to departure and she helped us out a great deal to fix it. We also had some very nice and interesting conversations with her and other members of staff. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Stafford Lodge!
