The cottage was away from noise just out of town , quite comfortable and fairly roomy. Beautiful bathroom.
Our thoughtful host, Gordon ,welcomed us on arrival and had set the heater going for our last minute arrival in the chilly early evening.
The bed was very comfortable .
Continental breakfast was included and suited our needs.

As stated in the information on the website, the property does not offer mod cons. It is a traditional stone cottage with limited modern additions. That said, the property was clean, bed was comfortable with an electric blanket and warm quilts. The weather was quite cold during our stay but the rooms have free standing heaters which worked a treat making the rooms cosy. Excellent hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Cooking facilities were suitable for fixing our own meals. It’s probably worth mentioning there are a couple of steps between the rooms and a very high step to enter the shower. Not an issue for us but might be for anyone with mobility limitations. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in a traditional cottage.

This was our second visit to Ladysmith Cottage and it was as relaxing and enjoyable as the first. Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful scenery, a great place to relax and recharge.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Cute little cottage with lovely views and much appreciated fireplace, hot tub and pet ducks. Biking on the back roads was fun. Will be staying again soon.
Lovely spot, great hot tub, cute cottage that opens up to a beautiful view. Friendly hosts, who provided complementary honey tasting and a jar to take home. Bonus being able to have our dog too.

Really enjoyed our stay, my only complaint would be that 2 nights simply was not long enough - I could of stayed all week 😊
It was very a lovely and cosy accomodation. The inner garden and patio were secluded and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. The orchard surroundings were idyllic.
Charming vaulted ceiling cottage. Very clean. Cute garden. Next time, we will come with our dog to relax. Dogs are catered for, here. Lovely, fully cooked breakfast with coffe and delish juice was served in their countryside cafe and was included in the room price. Staff answer promptly the text queries. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant. The hoar frost coating the plants was perfect for indulging in a bit of creative photography, on a cold crisp but very sunny morning, of our departure.
