It was out last minute booking, because other place was cancelled, we booked this one because of lack of other options in the area, but it turned out to be absolutely exceptional place, at the top of the hill with stunning view of the valley and mountains and amazing sunsets!

Hardangerfjord View is the perfect place away from home if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, and scenic. The house is beautiful, cosy, tastefully furnished, perfectly clean and fresh, and comes with all the amenities you could think of: fully equipped kitchen (including basic ingredients) where you can easily cook family-style dinners for 10 people, washing machine and dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, outdoor grill and furniture, great lighting throughout the house, many seating areas, etc. Every little detail is so well thought out: from the comfortable bedding and high quality towels to the many books and the sound system around the house. You can really feel the love and attention in every corner.
Sarah is a truly excellent host; I have never met a host as responsive, well-organised, and gracious. From the welcoming message to the swift communication throughout our stay as well as the clear signage throughout the house, you never feel lost but genuinely well looked after. You will also find ample and incredibly well structured information about the many things you can explore around Hardangerfjord. Great view, great location; very friendly and accommodating hostess; easy conversation and great tips for activities during our stay; We were there for 5 nights and only used part of the large holiday home. It was clean, tastefully furnished and everything you needed during a stay was there, including sunny weather with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C 😀😎 Unforgettable for us: the armchair and the view of the lake and the mountains from the large living room window, the kitchen window and of course from the terrace. Amazing location - very remote. Surrounded by rivers and waterfalls. Quite an adventure. The cabin was spacious and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Cozy wooden house, well equipped kitchenette. Flat screen TV set, with the Apple TV. We didn’t use it, but, anyway, for those who can’t live without it, it’s a great benefit. Parking place next to the house.
Great views, fantastic location, booked a room with the views and was very happy to enjoy the balcony.
The hotel parking has a charger for the electric car, the grocery shop just across the street. The pool and sauna were absolutely great. Just keep in mind that it has unusual working hours (it doesn’t belong to hotel but it just next door), for the hotel guests they provide discount so it was only 79 NOK per person + 10 NOK to rent a towel if you need. Breakfast was various and good.
Very proactive, responsive and helpful host. Finding the apartment and check in was very easy.
We found everything we needed for self catering. The view is beautiful.
It's not far to good supermarkets, and there are EV charging options nearby.

this is the most amazing place to stay in - honestly cannot recommend it enough. The views of the fjord are stunning and you wake up to the mountains right in front of you! It is very comfortable and cosy.
