What a beautiful exquisitely decorated property. Positioned in the very heart of the fascinating Galle Fort district we had access to everything by foot. Imalka was attentive, impeccably presented and gracious, made us lovely breakfasts and accommodated us however we needed. If we had stayed longer we would certainly have availed ourselves of his home cooked meals. Communication with the host and with Imalka was always prompt and addressed any question. I wish we could have stayed for a month! Rhank you so much for having us, the whole experience was a treat!

Villa Madagala is an oasis from the bustle of Galle Town but easy to get to if you wanted to be among crowds. The villa boasts 3 lovely rooms, a living space, dining and kitchen. There is also a lovely front porch with comfortable reclined seating and plunge pool with a courtyard. Perfect for our little baby and young family! We were really happy with the service from the villa host, Eranga, who eensured all our needs were met whilst also liasing with the booking manager on our meal requirements where we had a private chef on request. It was such a lovely place, I'd definitely come back.

Very nice place, calm and quite. Staff is very friendly and they took good care of their guests. Food was very good. Place is little distant from everything, but it gives you good opportunity to disconnect. Everything worked well.

A hidden gem! Right in the heart of Galle Fort, the place to be when you come to Galle. Just stay here. A small 7 room boutique hotel feel right at home. Aesthetically restored in an old Bungalow. We were lucky enough to even get a free upgrade to a courtyard room! Good breakfast as well! Would love to come again. Some amazing restaurants in walking distance. The renovated house/manor is beautiful. Room was spacious and especially the bathroom was very nice and modern. Cozy and charming. Staff very helpful and friendly, great Sri Lankan breakfast by the garden.
This is a small hotel with three rooms. The staff here takes good care of the guests. Don't expect a fully functional reception desk. It is more like an upscale homestay. Having said that, i must add that this bungalow has been lovingly restored, it is aesthetically pleasing and there is a touch of personalised care in everything. Best place to stay inside the galle fort.
This was my second visit and it was even better than last year. Ginganga Lodge is quite exceptional with 6 beautifully designed suites in the midst of idyllic tropical gardens and surrounded by nature. It is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Galle city yet it is just a short tuk tuk ride away. The restaurant offers well presented delicious meals and the staff are always friendly and attentive. A thoroughly enjoyable finale to our visit to Sri Lanka
I was so lucky to find this cute Linda's place in the perfect location, just a 2-3 walk from the Galle fort and the bus station. My room was cosy, clean with a big comfy bed. Linda is a great host and if I ever come back to Galle (hopefully) I'll definitely stay at her cottages! 🙂Thank you Linda!
This charming colonial-style hotel in Galle offers a fantastic location just a short stroll from the historic center of town. Having been lovingly restored, our room was beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings that reflected the hotel's colonial heritage.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks served in the restaurant, and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its ideal location, lovely ambience, delicious dining, and exceptional service.
The hotel is in the middle of the mangrove jugle by the side of a large and beautiful Lagoon. Our cottage/cabin/room was on the top of it. Outside was so green and we had a private pool under the room and at the bank of the lagoon! T/he night was full moon and the nature was surreal. The staff were so nce to us, breakfast was complimentary and has been served at the floating restaurant! Lovely experience!
The Lodge is situated away from the noise of Galle down little winding lanes and next to the river. Our room (half of a bungalow) was comfortable and attractively furnished and very quiet. We loved watching the shy, purple faced langurs in the tree from the open bathroom. Staff were kind and helpful and catered for my dietary needs. The pool was lovely and the food good. The owner took us into town and collected us whenever we wanted, by tuk tuk, which took about 15 mins.

Beautifully restored old building in the middle of the UNESCO heritage part of Galle. I was lucky enough to get a tower room with sea view on all sides. Small, but very cozy. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delicious. A place to come back to!
