This is a beautiful homestay run by Asela and his wife who cooks delicious breakfast for their guests. They provided us everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their rooms are very big. Weather was cold and it was so nice of them to give us hot drinking water , lit up the fire place at night. They gave us a packed breakfast for our Horton Plains Tour. To get a colonial feel you must stay in this property located just opposite to Race course. They also gave us wide varieties of food items in dinner which was made up of their own grown plants. Completely organic. With their deep knowledge about tea , they helped us buying the best tea in Nuwara Eliya . They gave us a big breakfast spread which had both Sri Lankan and Western food items. They gave us pick and drop for the railway station too. They arranged Nuwara Eliya sightseeing tour for us. They have all the amenities and facilities needed for a wonderful stay.

We loved how the host, Nalie, welcomed us. He was at a phone call away every time we needed information or help. He also helped us to book the safari at Udawalawe National Park, the tea factory tour at Damro Tea Factory, he talked with Indu (another amazing and kind person) who took us everywhere by tuk tuk. The villa is spacious with two bathrooms, two king size beds, a living room, kitchen and balcony. The views are stunning! Overall, we highly recommend this place if you are looking for an European accommodation in Nuwara Eliya. We will come back, for sure! Thank you again for the experience! P.S. The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.
