The house has everything needed, a comfy bed, air con, a small kitchen to cook simple menus and a shower with good water pressure.
It is located only 2 min from the beach and directly in the jungle. We could see monkeys, leguans and crabs at night, which was very nice and exciting.
The host is also very nice, he drove us to a docotor when we needed one and organised our trip to Kandy for a good price.
I can definitely recommend this house for nature loving people that want to be close to the beach.

The location for us was great, private, secure, right next to beach with a few places to eat ,ideal.

Location was handy to beach but quiet. House had everything you needed - no air conditioning but fans in each room. Kumudu, the owner , and her family are exceptionally friendly hosts and would do anything for you. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Gihan provides a taxi service if required. We highly recommend taking a look at Blue Bay Island- about 2.5km away. It was stunning and very clean. Great for a day trip and swimming. We ordered a breakfast one morning and we requested egg hoppers and fresh fruit. It was lovely.

The property was beautiful, the rooms very cozy, the beach is amazing and the dogs are very welcoming too. All the staff is very kind and always ready to help us with anything we would need. Had the chance to try a surf lesson with Tharu, which was a really nice experience as well. Got to use the shala with a beautiful view to the ocean as well, it was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and advice everyone to go too! Looking forward to go during high season!
That was the best home stay experience in Sri Lanka. It is located a few minutes away from the beach. Place is exceptionally cosy, clean and comfortable. Room was just beautiful with nice bed, private bathroom with hot shower and all facilities you can imagine. We used the kitchen for cooking our food which was great after long weeks of traveling. Big thank you for the host family - you made our stay here simply wonderful. We recommend this place if you plan to stay in Dikwella.

Loved my stay here while travelling the south coast as a solo female traveller in off season. The location is perfect just a short walk up a hill from the beach, beautiful rooftop, a great place to work from. The rooms feel spacious and cozy at the same time. The staff were so friendly they felt like my friends, and there were even puppies. ♥️
It is located in a nice place where you can see the sea from all angles. It is a big facility with a gym, spa, pool etc. but it was not cozy or the feeling of warmth of a place was missing (which we generally look for)

the place was small and cosy. I didn't have any issues with the internet and was able to work. Place is a ten minute walk from the beach & main restaurants, so it's in a quiet location. They provided authentic breakfast
We really enjoyed our time in Surein's hotel room. It is a super modern, cozy and bright room with everything you need. Large garden and close to the beach thanks to the shortcut. In addition, Surein and his family are very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back any time.
Everything was perfect.. I ll definitely come back here if, with my Partner, we ll decide to visit sri lanka again next year. You ll have your own privacy here and a smiling family ready to help you all the time you need, just 6 minutes walking from hiritekyia Beach and 5 from the bus stop to the main road. The room is very comfortable, we get the one with a/c, I m not very good handling the heat 😅 but the bungalows with fans looks extremely cozy... 10 10 10
