This was our second stay, both times to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The hosts are so welcoming and even put up a happy birthday banner for us!
We arrived and were given some milk and a bbq (unfortunately the weather didn't allow for us to use it this time) we we also given some freshly laid eggs which were absolutely delicious!
We love coming here, it's cosy, private and the perfect getaway for some relaxation. The small log burner made it even more cozy! Thankyou so much and we can't wait to book again!

Everything, there was nothing to dislike ! Spotlessly clean , a real home from home , everything you could ask for and more.the setting is absolutely beautiful, saw red squirrels and woodpeckers and the hosts chickens were very entertaining, would definitely recommend this beautiful lodge !
Beautiful little cottage. Cosy and clean and perfect location to visit our daughter and family in the village of Whitwell. Nice walk in to village even though footpaths bit muddy this time of year but that wasn’t a problem.
Lovely place to stay in. We enjoyed our time there. The owners put a lot of attention into details in decorating the lodge, really cosy and comfortable. We will definitely want to come back!
Beautiful, tiny, cosy cottage. Fantastic big bathroom, with full bath and plenty of hot water, brilliant after a day outside in the cold and the rain. Huge bed, with very comfortable mattress. Great views from the sitting room. Very easy to find and, as everywhere is so close on the Isle of Wight, a great base for getting anywhere.
