We had an absolutely wonderful experience, location is perfect, situated near Gunwarf quays, close to the train station, bus stop is right in front, restaurant and bar is 2mins away, the city centre is 11mins walk, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with comfortable bed, modern amenities, great view. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and hot water. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Portsmouth.

All the staff and owner of the hotel were really friendly and very efficient. The hotel is probably one of the oldest in Portsmouth and has been carefully restored with many original features. Beautiful furnishings and a lovely court yard garden. They have a cosy well stocked bar as well.,
Self catering. But the provision of tea. coffee and milk was very considerate. The Cottage is also situated two doors from a small corner shop / off licence. The Cottage owners were extremely helpful in sorting out parking permits. We had no trouble in parking the two cars outside or very nearby. The little garden was delightful.
Becketts was a great B&B. It's clean, quiet and almost completely panelled in wood. Felt more like a cabin.
It's really quiet, despite being just by the road.

The room was in a cottage behind the hotel and it was peculiar, like being in a pirate room.
Everything was fine, the room was comfy and cosy, the bed was nice and we had an extra little room with another bed.

Host readily on hand to sort out access. Good communication with host. Lodge was warm and cosy - our party was a couple and their 2 adult children and there was plenty of room for all. Good lounge layout for chatting and playing games. Kitchen well equipped and plenty of hot water. Short stroll to Eastney end of Southsea beach. Short walk to Hayling Island ferry. Parking easy.
Lovely clean house, nice hot tub. Despite being a terraced house and in a busy street it was very peaceful with minimal noise outside. Comfy beds. Great local shops and our favourite real ale bar just at the end of the road (brewery tap). Hot tub great for a relax at the end of a busy day sightseeing.
Very nice location in the center of Southsea, close to the restaurants, shops and sea front. Very charming and cosy room ! The staff was very nice and friendly! Breakfast was the best we ever had in an hotel
Fantastic location close to Gunwharf, Dockyards, Ferries and seafront.
Room cosy and comfortable, staff really friendly and helpful, we were lodged in the courtyard cottage which was quiet and peaceful. Car parking pass was available prior to check in time when we arrived and until 3ish on the day we left.
You are a stone's throw away from the old city of Portsmouth and we had a great time.
