We stayed here as an overnight stay before going to the theme park, the cottage was cosy and exactly what we needed after a long drive from Glasgow. The alpacas outside were great too ! Great value for money and would recommend as a good place to relax and unwind, very peaceful.

A beautiful cottage, fully equipped and great for an overnight stay before a day at Alton towers. A 2 minute drive. The owners clearly have put a lot of thought into the needs of their guest. Would definitely return.

Gill was excellent with keeping in touch and communicating with me.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Warm welcome from the staff of this lovely hotel that has great views of the countryside. If you play golf there's the added bonus of a round of golf included in the stay (though I think you may have to have a golf handicap)
The inclusive breakfast was excellent. I'd happily stay there again.
It's a nice countryside location, the rooms we have had have been lovely and we have been here a few times already. We enjoyed the breakfast they do here(my partner likes the extra black pudding :D) and the coffee is good, you get all the essentials in the room, coffee, tea and some cookies and a bottle of water each.
Great welcome from the owners. A fantastic cottage, well equipped and spacious. We were a party of 10 and fit very comfortably. Great location and some good local pubs.
Everything. Cottage was spacious and cosy, lovely views, comfortable, immaculately kept.
Owner was friendly and kind. Lovely welcoming gifts.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day soon.
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Everything we needed for a few nights stay to attend a wedding. The hosts were friendly and communication was brilliant. The welcome wine and biscuits was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend!
Lovely and cosy cottage, especially loved the log burner and the 'secret' door to the snug. Lots of different spaces to socialise in and nice touch with the various games/jigsaws in the snug cupboard.
The welcome pack was very nice too , we will definitely come back to this charming wee cottage and recommend to our friends
