Great location. Authentic miner's cottage, flagged floors, dark timbered ceiling and cupboards, fun to light woodturning stove and AGA. The heat pump air-conditioning in the lounge added warmth on a very cold weekend. Internet worked well. Mini bathroom in main bedroom very hand.

This is a lovely dinky little cottage with a lovely garden to sit out in on an evening with a glass of wine. Good for walkers, lots of places with lovely walks. We also went up to Roman Fort and wall - very interesting. Dog friendly pub not in the village but only a couple of miles away if you have your pooch with you like we did. Really cosy feel to the living room.
