Clean spacious accomodation, everything you would want was included in the kitchen and the beds were comfortable. Location is lovely - not a through route so only traffic is people visiting the place. The beach and marina seemed popular over the bank holiday weekend. Beach is shingle mostly - you can hear the waves from the bedrooms - very relaxing.
Shops are less than 10 min drive away, or a 45 min walk down the beach if you feel fit. Good mini market, a Post Office, decent coffee, several independent boutiques and two fish and chip shops.

Lovely little property in a great location. Although small the lodge was cosy and had everything we needed. It was clean and bright and comfortable. The added bonus of sun loungers in the courtyard was brilliant. The kitchen was well stocked and the oven easy to use. The shower was excellent. All round very happy with our stay.

Lovely cottage with relaxing modern decor and good location. Peaceful. Spacious and airy. Very comfortable and relaxing downstairs spaces. Bathrooms well decorated comfy double beds. Car Parking
I had never been to Suffolk so the area was a delightful surprise. Mission Lodge was especially comfortable with everything I needed for my stay. The weather was particularly miserable while I was there and one day cold and wet. However I had a personal visit to see if I wanted heating temperature increased. As I had already made up the log fire it was all very cosy and continued to stay warm during my visit.
Beds so cosy! 3 bedrooms, nice kitchen, garden, parking. Thorpeness is such a relaxing place to stay, so to be within easy walking distance of the pub, lake, beach, etc was great. Aldeburgh do close (with more shops), and very nice too.
Quiet retreat. Cosy . Just what we needed for a wind down and relax.
