The Lodge and the room was modern clean bright and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The Lodge is in a peaceful location surrounded by hills and countryside. Coffee shop on site for drinks cake and continental breakfast or a pay a supplement for a cooked breakfast at the kings head pub a few minutes down the lane. Highly recommend a stay

Great location between Keswick and Windermere. There’s plenty of parking and the staff member I met was welcoming, friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night on a work trip, the lodge provided a warm and comfortable stopover. I didn’t book breakfast as I’m happy with a cup of tea first thing. Best thing was the big lovely white towels! My room was cheap and only had a velux window so no view unless you stood on the bed.

Booked a last minute stay and thankfully there was a room free at the lodge. We took our doggo with us who loved it too. All of the staff we met were really friendly and accommodating. I don't think anything would have been too much to ask. Really clean, spacious, great location pretty central to everything we wanted to do and see. Breakfast was gorgeous and coffee shop which is open until 9pm. Excellent value for money.
