Lovely Inn with super friendly staff. Cosy, clean room with a very comfortable bed. I also had a fabulous dinner (Steak and Kidney pudding) and throughly enjoyed my stay at the Kings Head Inn. Very much recommended!

I had the most wonderful time here! The surrounding area is gorgeous, and coming back to a crackling woodfire and a hot water bottle after having been out on a hike is the perfect end to a day spent exploring! The owner was very kind and helpful, and the camping barn had everything I could have asked for (and more!): a hot shower (coin operated, 1 pound gets you 50' of hot water), maps of the area, comfortable beds, a fireplace and some wood already prepared, fully equipped kitchen, and even hot water bottles!

We had such a lovely stay at Leatheswater, the views were just beautiful. The apartment was perfect it felt very homely and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable. There is lots to from here we didn’t need to use the car very much lots of beautiful walks and the lake is only a short walk away. We shall definitely be coming back here again!
