The bed was sumptuous, the furnishings were of a very high quality, and there was a real sense of space. Superb connections to Durham. Shincliffe itself is beautiful with great coffee shops and pub.

Boasting a hot tub, Stunning 2 Bedroom Guest House with Hot Tub is set in Durham. The property was built in 19th century and has accommodation with a patio.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Everything. The location was perfect for easily moving around, the cottage was beautifully decorated; the kitchen had everything you could want; Simon, our host, was extremely helpful and available.
perfect home away from home. Cosy 2 bedroom house within a stone's throw from Durham city center. Ideal location . House was clean, well equipped and Josephine was kind to ensure we had tea, coffee etc. Very good value for money and would recommend anytime .
