This is a beautiful and peaceful cottage. It was well equipped and very nicely furnished. The huge spa bath was a lovely surprise! It was also nice and warm during the colder evenings. It's just a few minutes drive through pretty country lanes to the A30 for touring Cornwall by car, and the same for St Erth station. The hosts were prompt to respond to queries, and the written directions they sent were perfect, and appreciated as the booking.com map pin is a little bit inaccurate. The welcome goodies were also much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very nice, quiet house, located very close to beautiful villages and towns in Cornwall, if you want peace after tiring daily journeys, this is the one you should choose. The 2 person bath with jacuzzi was a treat, I was given a bottle of wine when I arrived, which was surprising but very thoughtful. All the kitchen utensils are not missing anything. Give customers a lot of instructions via text message before we arrive which is very helpful.

Anvil House is a beautiful old cottage that has been newly renovated to an exceptional standard, with so many special touches and details. With three separate bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms and off road parking, it was the perfect spot to take my elderly parents on holiday for a few days. The village of St Erth itself is also delightful and the perfect location to explore the Hayle Estuary, Marazion, St Ives, Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole, Land's End and beyond. We would definitely recommend Anvil House to other visitors and hope to return ourselves again one day.
