This was our second stay, both times to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The hosts are so welcoming and even put up a happy birthday banner for us!
We arrived and were given some milk and a bbq (unfortunately the weather didn't allow for us to use it this time) we we also given some freshly laid eggs which were absolutely delicious!
We love coming here, it's cosy, private and the perfect getaway for some relaxation. The small log burner made it even more cozy! Thankyou so much and we can't wait to book again!

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Modern clean interior with everything you need. Parking space right outside the lodge. Nice fresh looking towels and bedding. The hot tub was well looked after.
Overall a great resort. Kids loved the playground, dog loved the outdoor spaces, husband loved the bar and we loved the private hot tub in the garden. We were able to cook in the kitchen comfortably and our cottage was very well located within the resort itself. It's a really good amount of space to live away from home and the hot tub made it really relaxing end to a short family trip.
The resort is also dog friendly and very safe for kids.
Location is perfect to travel in all directions. It was nice and affordable. Overall nice and cosy place to stay. Apart from the bathroom issue, it was still a lovely place. Dishwasher, washing machine, etc, all available to use. Generally clean. Quiet and peaceful area. Would definitely book again, but probably a cottage instead.
Clean, tidy, with all facilities we needed as a family found in the lodge that we stayed in. Very charming view to the lake. Staff very warm welcoming and helpful at any point. Will diffintely be back again.
Absolutely lovely place in the middle of Isle Of Wight countryside. Nice cozy place, lovely bathroom and bedroom too - especially the bed itself.. This accommodation is definitely recommend to stay - with full and rich English breakfast served by lovely staff
The cottage was amazing, it was decorated so nicely. We were also given complimentary Prosecco, some biscuits, milk, coffee everything we needed. We wish we didn’t go to the shops beforehand! The hot tub was so nice and the lake view was great. We only tried the restaurant once the meal we had was nice. We will definitely be back even just for that hot tub! And for the price we paid it’s definitely worth it
The staff were very cheerful and friendly, the hot tub was great, there was pretty much everything we needed in our lodge and the decor was modern.The welcome pack was fabulous.
