    I loved this house so much! Really beautiful, isolated and quiet - the perfect getaway. I couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful the area was, and watching wildlife from the kitchen window was such a treat. Otters! Eagles! Stags! Katelin was super communicative and the house was surprisingly really easy to find in spite of its remote location. Absolutely adored it and can’t wait to come back. The bed was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped. Perfect.

    Location was lovely - beautiful views and not too far from ferry/shop though it felt remote, which is what we like. Upstairs of the cottage was very spacious, the 3 kids had a room each which was why we'd booked this place, though that did make it a more expensive stay for us - if you had full occupancy, would be better value. It was nice to explore a bit of North Uist that we'd not been to before.

    Clean, tidy space. Well equipped - for such a small space, the owners have thought of everything. Reading light, USB chargers, decent knives, great WiFi, welly stand, balcony space, microwave, toaster - and welcome gift of gin! Loads of parking, helpful host. Had a peaceful, relaxing stay - the lodge is very quiet, with a beautiful view. Close to RSPB reserve which has a lovely beach and coastal walk.

    Lovely location overlooking a loch and hills. Swan View Lodge was wonderfully snug indeed, and the proprietor and his family went out their way to make sure we had a great stay, without being remotely intrusive. I couldn't rate them or this property highly enough!
