Location was brilliant - right in the middle of Brixham with bars, shops and cafes only a minute's walk away. The house was beautiful with lots of character and a lovely roof terrace overlooking the harbour, which was perfect for cocktails in the sun. The bedrooms were good sizes, nice and clean and very comfortable. An added bonus was each bedroom had it's own bathroom / en-suite 😊

Loved that you got a cream tea on arrival, also the property had everything you needed to cook with.
Great location 3 min drive to the harbour about 20 mins walk. Not to far from other locations either. Will definitely stay again!

So close to two lovely pubs, The Ship and The Steam Packet. Plus the charm of the steam railway, marina vistas, the fireworks at the Naval College Passing Out Ball. Facilities were all as one might expect from a holiday cottage, and we could easily spend weeks there. Plenty of towels, toiletries, easy to work heating, decor and seating all very nice. And it was so peaceful and quiet, and located on the sunny side of the Dart.
The views were amazing we felt comfortable and relaxed straight away the cottage was immaculate and finished off to a very high standard loved the light that came on when you entered the bathroom and the shutters that were in our bedroom were just lovely , although didn’t’ want to shut these as the view was far to gorgeous for that
The cottage has everything needed for a couple, and lovely views over the estuary from the table in the window. Parking is easy in the marina over the road. Kingswear is a good base for exploring the area - get the steam train to Paignton ot the ferry over to Dartmouth. The hot water wasn't working when we arrived but was quickly fixed when we reported it to the agent (apparently happens quite often!)
It was a clean & comfortable well equipped cottage. Lovely & bright, well decorated with amazing views across the river Dart. we loved sitting outside on the deck for meals especially in the evening.
