We love this place. It's peaceful, plentiful and idyllic. Spotless, light bright and airy. Our fourth trip and we will come back time and again. The hosts are lovely and can't do enough!

Well thought out space with everything you need for a short stay. The owners were on site and available, if needed, but not intrusive, very friendly and welcoming. Adequate off road parking . Ideal accommodation for a couple and well located for day trips to seaside towns such as Aldeburgh or Woodbridge and only a few miles from Sutton Hoo. The local village also has a Morrison local so self catering (dash for a bottle of wine) wouldn't be a problem.

The apartment was very comfortable and was like a home away from home. It was very tidy and cozy the whole time we was there.

The Cartlodge is a charming and comfortable space in an excellent location, and we enjoyed exploring the area as well as watching Kubrick films (from the included DVD selection) in the evenings. Welcoming hosts and a peaceful stay.

Beautifully presented and in a great location. It was such a cosy place to stay, even on a rainy November day. The owner was so lovely and accommodating. A short distance from Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo and Orford. Perfect for exploring this beautiful part of Suffolk. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location. Near Sutton Hoo, fantastic beaches and lots of very nice pubs. The apartment was cosy, comfortable and equipped with all we needed and more. Our hosts were not there during our stay but they made sure that everything was in the finest order.
