Sweetbriar Cottage Bed & Breakfast and Camping, hotel in Buckden

Set in Starbotton and only 48 km from Ripley Castle, Sweetbriar Cottage Bed & Breakfast and Camping offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

I arrived later than expected but the hosts couldn't have been nicer and even provided me with an evening meal after the local pub stopped serving. The cottage had everything I needed - natural setting, not too warm and not too cold; great breakfast conveniently made earlier than expected, good shower, spacious room. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days or more !

Lovely cottage in the heart of this stunning Dales village. Beds very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with little extras available. It was so nice to have the complimentary welcome pack too that was waiting for us. It was great to have the wood burning stove too which made the spacious living room super cosy. It was so nice to be able to walk directly from the property to Buckden Pike and plenty of other walks. The Buck Inn is just across the road and serves great food.

What a delightfull place to stay, cosy cottage B&B, Lynne is an exceptional host, nothing was to much trouble. The property was very homely, modern but rustic with her own personal twist. Felt welcome from the moment we arrived, room was more than we expected as were the facilities. Breakfast was amazing ( for fans of black pudding it was the best!! ) Could not of wished for a better end to our Yorkshire honeymoon. Thankyou Lynne and Cara ( hope we remembered that correctly) the dog. ❤️

We stayed for two nights in this charming Inn in the middle of the stunning Yorkshire Dales, and had two incredible dinner experiences - fantastic food by the fireplace in an exquisite pub - and slept wonderfully in a cozy room. The hosts are very nice and welcoming.

Lovely cosy accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting, with added touches such as fresh flowers and a welcome basket and to top it off fantastic hosts. Plenty of walks straight from the front door and a nice pub just a few steps away, but the accommodation was more than well equipped for a self catering break.
