I arrived later than expected but the hosts couldn't have been nicer and even provided me with an evening meal after the local pub stopped serving. The cottage had everything I needed - natural setting, not too warm and not too cold; great breakfast conveniently made earlier than expected, good shower, spacious room. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days or more !

The Riverside provided an exceptionally clean, comfortable, accommodation in the heart of the beautiful village of Bainbridge.
Roxana ably managed to give us privacy balanced with friendship and care throughout our stay.
We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys walking, the countryside and excellent food.
We had a fantastic weekend away at Skellgill Barn! Although it was a chilly weekend, the cottage was always cosy and the views were beautiful. Many thanks to Anne for dropping off delicious cheese, crackers and biscuits!
Almost everything was perfect in this house, starting from the location through its cleanness and homey vibes, spacious rooms, not to mention how responsive and kind the hosts were throughout the process. We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely cottage.
Lovely cosy cottage with a really simple check in. Room was pristine and beds were comfy. Breakfast was banging and the owner is very welcoming and flexible with arrival and departure times. Also has a cat which is a great bonus.
The whole B&B was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Decor was beautiful, our room definitely had a cosy cottage feel but with a modern edge. Roxana's hosting was impeccable, so helpful and friendly. Really couldn't have asked for more on this stay, well, perhaps a bit of sunshine, but then again it was January!
