The cave houses in Guadix are extraordinary so it was amazing to be able to stay in one. Vanessa was a very helpful host. We loved having two terraces to sit and watch the sunsets. A quirk of the cave house is that bedrooms are interconnected without doors but we adapted to this!

The owners gave us a lovely welcome . The house is great. 4 lovely double bedrooms a pool table and a comfortable living room/kitchen . Coffee and tea was provided. The large driveway accommodates the car and a sunny seating area. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s really something extra to stay at Manolo’s place which has been restored with care. You feel like you stay at a small 16th century palace. The wine cellar and the hospitality of Manolo and Sandra also contributes to a really interesting stay. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it.
The cueva was super cozy, the bed incredibly confortable and we had all the necessary items in the kitchen to enjoy a nice breakfast in the garden. Right under the panoramic spot of the cave neighbourhood, a very special site to spend a night or two.
The cave house itself was cosy, simple but with everything you need. For those without a car it is 15m walk to the train station, 35 into the town centre. Be careful as the Google Map address is wrong and takes you to someones private residence 5 minutes away. A nice hike to Benalúa starts near the restaurant (route PR-A 155).
Good communication with very friendly enthusiastic owners Adriana and Antonio. Complementary bottle of wine . V cool, unusual place to stay, warm and comfy beds. Self catering was a must as we arrived late. Dog friendly.

I'm glad I just found a cheaper place than the cave house, but also in the old town among the winding streets. The old house is charming, the interior, wooden ceiling beams, the view from the huge kitchen window is great. There is everything you need, a large library for guests. It's quiet, peaceful around, well, maybe it's not the tourist season. If I travel through those places, I will definitely choose this hostel.
The hosts were extremely helpful with explaining all the facilities in the house and giving us directions and places to eat, drink and visit. The experience of a cave house is great. And its walking distance from the town centre. It was warm and cozy despite thinking it wouldn't be! As a couple we would have preferred the other apartment they have which is more private and romantic this one is more family sharing style but a fun place to have barbecues and fires with the family.
