The host met us at the property and showed us around. It is an Andalusia style home, full of little details and has everything you would need for a stay. Spotlessly clean, a brilliant well stocked kitchen with washing machine, fridge, freezer and oven. Super comfy beds. A pool (in season) and a roof terrace with the most breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Granada. The roof terrace is partly shaded and has sunbeds, a swing seat and table and chairs. It is a great base as only 15 minutes from Alhambra on the motorway ( you can only get to it on the motorway) and around 15 minutes from the centre. If you are after a car park in the centre, we would recommend Hermanos Maristas. Also booked a free walking tour through Sandemans. If you are thinking of visiting Alhambra, you must pre-book tickets- the Nasrid Palace and Alhambra, Alcazar and gardens are a must see!! I hope to visit again!!

The house was very clean, the beds comfortable. The owner very helpful and nice. A really great experience, sleeping under the ground. Imagine a morning coffee on the terrace, listening to spanish music coming from some other house…

Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. We originally booked this one bedroom apartment, but when we met the host Luis there, he offered us to stay in a two bedroom apartment with more space for our bicycles and a bigger swimming pool, without any extra cost! Both places looked really nice, and had similar amazing views of the mountains. The apartment we stayed in, Dreams Alpajurra, was really spacious, had a cozy living room and a well-equipped kitchen, great shower and comfy beds. The terraces and swimming pool had an amazing view of the surrounding mountainous landscape. Luis is a really friendly and helpful host as well. Albeit not necessary for us at the time, he even offered to drive us to the next town to help us get groceries instead of us having to cycle there again.

Bendida Casa is a beautiful old house at the foot of the Alhambra, renovated by including many historic features and with lots of creativity. Every bedroom is different and has a slightly varied character, different view or perks. The common dining/living room has an amazing view, the additional table in the kitchen is great for a quick breakfast. Two bathrooms, one on each floor, make it easy to use the house with a small group of people wanting to get to the visiting in the morning, as in our case. When we were here, it was very cold outside, the heating worked well for most parts of the house, esp. the bedrooms. The roof terrace, which is accessed through a cupboard door in one of the bedrooms, has a spectacular location and view. Communication with the owner was easy and very pleasant, she gave us plenty of information beforehand and organised a very reasonably priced taxi transfer to the door for us.
