Chalet was immaculate and very cosy. We stayed as a family of 8. There is plenty of space for all 8 of us. Accommodation is about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of Zermatt. Lovely views as you walk. Will highly recommend. Thank you, Lukus and Jessica

Most isolated and peaceful property from the hustle bustle of main town. The host provided with complementary taxi transport to the location and an extra coupon that we used for an early morning ride to the train station when buses don’t ply. Local free buses are punctual but limited during extreme hours so free taxi from the property is a relief when carrying luggage. People who like to walk are in for a treat. Lazy ones stay away from this property. Probably the only property in Zermatt that’s surrounded by meadows with grazing cattle giving off sweet symphony of bells !
Last but not the least the host is a gentleman with composure and understanding of a father figure. He’ll read you and then reply as per your comfort clarifying everything like a true professional. Offered us so many complimentary snacks and sweets! The best host in whole of Switzerland!

The house has the soul. Lots of things made of wood. Nice place. Birds songs early morning and evening. Quiet nights, fresh air. Easy to start several interesting walking treks. To Furi about 1 hour walking{ or cable car 10 min}. From there 35 min walking to Glacier Garten. And that is something very very special.

We absolutely loved our stay at Matterhorn Lodge. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the train station and very close to the bustling shopping street and a variety of restaurants.

We had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn, where we sat and drank coffee every morning. After hiking all over in the mountains, we returned every afternoon to enjoy the pool, sauna and hot tub. This was amazing. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations for eating out. And the location was perfect, really close to the Sunnegga/Rothorn gondolas, and not far from the Gornergrat train or center of town. We could not have asked for a better stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Exceptionally good hotel all round. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent buffet breakfast included in price, which seemed pretty good for Zermatt. The spa facilities were brilliant (large hot tub, sauna, and steam room), along with complementary use of pool in partner hotel nearby if desired. Nice touches were the provision of complementary lifts to and from the station, and afternoon cakes and fruit in the lounge. A really enjoyable stay.

The Hotel is perfect! The host is very kind, polite and extremely helpful! The house itself is very cosy, there are a lot of little things like candeles, flowers which make the atmosphere even more cozy and romantic. It was very warm in the house, the sauna was always available in the evening, the kitchen is well equipped. Thus, all in all, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel 100%.
Breakfast was great to everyone’s taste, prepared to order so fresh and no queuing for a buffet! The choices ranged from health to extravagant with fluffy American pancakes or healthy avocado on toast.
The hotel feels more like being in a chalet than a hotel . It’s cosy and comfortable. We played card in the evening while sipping drinks. Or sat around the fireplace in the afternoon drinking hot chocolate after skiing.Just perfect for a romantic or a family ( adults only) holiday🤗
Excellent service from all the friendly hotel staff. Martin at the front desk was extremely helpful in our booking of a ski class, including advising us where to rent ski equipment, and promptly kept us informed of changes. Room was spacious and cosy for two, nice cottage/cabin design, and the balcony view of the mountains and snowy scenery was priceless. Heated pool was perfect for soaking in to relax after a long day out sightseeing or skiing.
