Bonito is very nice and so is Luis (the host). Okay pool, not the largest, but really nice place to relax after a long day in the field. Bedrooms were super and the dining area was a very nice place to mingle with the colleagues. Super fancy the way the house is build. I will definitely go there again if I come to Bonito.

Room with the swimming pool was really amazing. There was no need to go to public area. Very convenient with small kids.

What an awesome place! Absolutely everything was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was special. You could select your breakfast choices in the evening and receive freshly prepared items in the morning, including fresh juice, good coffee, etc. The cabins were extremely cozy, quiet, and clean and only a short distance from the pool. We definitely want to come back.
Everything was exceptional. From beginning to end, the staff were amazing, very communicative via whatsapp.
The food was always fresh and super tasty. Local fish everyday!!
The cabins were very spacious and well maintained, very clean.
Activities were organised to be at a reasonable pace. The heat and humidity meant that it was easy to become tired and overwhelmed, so the guides would provide breaks and downtime in between.
The host, a Swiss lady, was great. The lodge is surrounded by nature, a river and hiking tracks, which is perfect for nature lovers. We spotted lots of monkeys and birds like toucans and macaws (even next to the swimming pool!). Moreover, you have the possibility to go kayaking, have a bonfire next to the pousada or organize your own BBQ.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful garden the rooms are in a sort of cabin each with its own terrace and hammock. There are a lot of birds and other animals around. The breakfast and the food in the restaurant are very good. The staff is extremly nice, especially the guy who worked when we arrived. Unfortunately I forgot his name.
