The house was beautiful and very spacious. The views from the stoep were breathtaking.
A quiet town with river and wonderful beaches. Perfect for wind surfing etc.
Selection of cafes with good menu choice.
Evening eating out off peak less choice. Driving or walking its easy to get around. Avoid English summer time visits it can be cold wet and windy.

Quiet seaside resort at this time of year. Eating out easy distances. Downside to dining in South Africa the only form of potato is greasy chips. Even in 5 star hotels. The museum/ tourist information is a lovely place to eat.

The location of the unit is arguably the best in Stilbaai. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend that the wifi password be provided to guests on arrival. We would love to return.

Stilbaai came to us as a big & pleasant surprise - it was...
Stilbaai came to us as a big & pleasant surprise - it was not the sleepy fishing village that we were expecting. Unfortunately, we were there less than 24 hours, but we managed to drive around to familiarise ourselves with what it had to offer. We loved the fact that there were a number of good restaurants, coffee shops & large supermarkets. The beaches looked very inviting as well as hiking & riding trails, but we needed more time for all of that. It was nice to see little boats on the river & we hear that the fishing is very good. All in all, we loved Stilbaai & will certainly return.

An interesting little town with friendly people. We didnt have any time to explore. Enjoyable fish dinner at the harbour restuarant at sunset. There were wine farms, cheese factories and beaches we would have liked to visit if time had allowed.
We had a good stay at Chilli Moon with comfortable room, friendly hosts, and a great breakfast.
The location is nothing less than amazing. Right at the point where the river meets the sea, with lovely balcony and view.
The apartment is truly amazing, well equipped with everything (including laundry machine) and anything you could think of.
Unfortunately it was raining from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and we didn't have the chance to properly enjoy Stilbaai nor the balcony and the view, but it was still a good stay on the way to garden route.
This place is absolutely fantastic. We often travel and stay at self catering accommodations. This one exceeded our expectations. The Apartment is spacious, good quality linnen and appliances and has a FULLY equipped kitchen with everything you can ask for. The view is beautiful and check-in and check-out was a breeze. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Stilbaai.
We loved the isolated feeling surrounded by indigenous bush. The cottage is elegantly and luxuriously finished with everything needed. The owner and manager was very kind and helpful. The unit is even equipped with an inverter to deal with load shedding. Close enough to Stilbaai and major attractions in the area. Great location for gravel cycle enthusiasts.
We were made to feel very welcome by Ros & Jean. They were very helpful & informative with all the questions we had about Stilbaai. Their exquisite property, perched high up offers a beautiful view of the river & part of Stilbaai. We would not hesitate to go back to River Daze again.
Beautiful setting - tranquil and peaceful. The whole unit is lovely and clean. Loved the fact that we could go for a walk on the farm, safe and beautiful scenery. The close proximity to all the Stilbaai restaurants and Inverroche Distillery was also an added bonus for us.
It was really nice to stay, modern and private. We had to leave early in the morning, our son was playing rugby but would really want to go back and book for n proper weekend. This is my number one on my list when I go to Stilbaai again, hope this will be soon
Apartment is stunning, very clean and excellent views. Easy access to the beach and lagoon. Considering the price of other accommodation options in stilbaai this is really value for money.
These are good budget flats in Stilbaai, ideal for families. We upgraded on site for the bigger flat 8 which was nice comfier than the regular flats and with a large balcony, worth it!
It's very tranquil. The residents of Stilbaai is very friendly. Feel very safe. Walk early and still feel safe.
There is not much traffic. Loud noise.
