On the surface Middelburg might look like a featureless town...
On the surface Middelburg might look like a featureless town, however there are many interesting places to visit. I particularly loved the railway station museum and the historic Boer war sites which can be found in the town. the tourist information center was particularly helpful in directing me to these sites.

This is a beautiful big town with all the amenities that anybody might need but with a farm town aura. It is easy to get around the town & there are many good restaurants to choose from. The Mall is great & the town's people are friendly & open-minded.

Middelburg has a very well maintained shopping Mall from the Freeway.Although there was loadshedding at the time of my short visit,some few other stores operated with backup power.That was awesome.
I didn't see the main town.but hope it should be looking great as well.

It is a clean town except the undrinkable tap water. It is a very beautiful and suitable for work places. I enjoyed food from Rock mamas, nandos and Panarotis. It is very easy to get around almost every place in Middelburg. I liked going to Middelburg mall.
I stayed here for 2 days I did not want to leave. The hospitality of the owners are exceptional and the rooms are amazing. The property has a beautiful garden. We had load-shedding but even that was not a problem as they have a generator. The cleanliness of the place is remarkable. I would definitely rate this at the top of guest houses I've stayed in.
This is the perfect stop en route to the Kruger Park, Mozambique and the rest of the Lowveld. Jaco made us feel extremely welcome and made us the perfect breakfast each morning. We will definitely keep this stop on our radar when next travelling through Middelburg.
I loved EVERYTHING about the guest house. The owner was very friendly and we had beautiful stay, so peaceful you can actually hear a pin drop. The lady cleaned our room when we came back it was fresh and clean. Definitely coming back here.

Nice guest house in Middelburg. We stayed for the Loskop Marathon. Comfortable room with jet-bath and cosy blankets on the bed. The host opened up the kitchen for us to have our own dinner.
I'm not a person of many words, but the guest house is situated at a quiet place and it was easy to find. Their breakfast, is to die for. I really enjoyed my stay at Lamor Guest House.
We loved everything about our stay, from the warm welcome on arrival, the mist beautiful room to the delicious breakfast!
