Breakfast was cooked to my liking and well prepared but lacked an element of wow! Generally food was also good but no wow factor.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The location was fabulous with spectacular views all around. We added our stay on to a tour of the Zulu battlefields and we were so pleased that we managed to see the drackensberg mountains on a clear sunny day. The surrounding area is wonderful with lots of walks right from the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and we took part in a quiz that was taking place in the hotel. We would highly recommend and would love to return.

Being surrounded by nature, the intimacy of the place and the ambience
The hot tub was definitely one of our favourite parts of this experience, being able to relax after a hike and appreciate the landscape.
The living room with a fire place to enjoy the quiet evenings being warm and playing board games
Ryan, the host that welcomed us is charming and shared with us his knowledge and stories about this wonderful place.

Very quiet with amazing views and sunsets. Everything you need for self-catering, close to all shops and attractions.
Mount Champagne sits below the most magnificent mountain.
Mount Champagne sits below the most magnificent mountain. It changes constantly throughout the day and I have always been fascinated since I first visited 49 years ago. It did not disappoint this time. This region has everything u could need. Shops, restaurants, hiking, river, swimming pools, friendly staff. So much to see and enjoy. I will make a point of a few days here every time I visit from the UK. Beautiful.

The hotel is situated in a busy valley, with plenty of activities close by. Yet it was extremely tranquil with the most amazing views of the Drakensberg.
The food and service was incredible.

The spa was great, but the Bell & whistle Restaurant, terrible, food is overpriced and really bad. Electricity was off the one night, when it wasn't even loadshedding, their generator wasn't working, because it was not serviced. The Leap adventure, we did the quad biking, basically paid over R900 just to drive around in circles??
Will never go again
