We visited Halo Retreat while touring Vietnam on our motorcycles. We had a fantastic stay and are very grateful to our host who guided us to a mechanic to fix an issue with one of our bikes. Our room was clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, the evening meal we had was delicious and I have high praise for our friendly and helpful hosts. You really need a purpose to travel to Kim Boi, there is nothing special to see around, so, if you really have to, this is probably the only option and finally it is not so bad. The nature in this area is nice.

Loved this place. Everything about it was perfect for us. Room was clean and comfortable with a very large balcony with large table and chairs. The location is very convenient and although in the village is very quiet. Had a great sleep every night on a very comfortable bed. Thai,who runs the place is a real good guy and takes care of everything. His mother is a wonderful person,very kind and friendly. She gave a really good breakfast every morning and we appreciated the choice of food offered. This is a very good place to stay and both my wife and I would like to thank Thai and his mother once again for their generous hospitality.We would certainly recommend this place for a stay in Mai Chau.
