I visited my daughter at the local HBCU, which is only 8 miles from the hotel. It's a relatively new hotel, great location, clean, near a convenience store and gas station. I will most definitely be using this location in the near future!

The quietness,clean, bed was comfortable and bacon on thr breakfast menu.
Great place for the price. Rooms were extra cold which we loved. Beds were super comfortable. Smelled, looked and felt clean when you walked into the hotel and rooms. We have been sleeping on Best Western. We usually stay at Hiltons but we will be checking out Best Western's now too.

We spent the night there to go on the Bluebonnet trail...
We spent the night there to go on the Bluebonnet trail around Brenham the next day, and it was fine for that, didn't see any of Waller. The trail wasn't much, compared to the Hill Country or Ennis, but it was OK. Visited Washington on the Brazos museum, impressive and out of the way.
the room/facilities were very clean, and the maid crew were very respectful in cleaning our room even though we left quite a bit of our stuff out. I really appreciated how easily accessible the managers were. We never had an issue, but they were always right at the front and ready to answer questions. Also, if one is planning to attend the Texas Ren Fest, this hotel is the perfect location.
The free breakfast was very basic compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations. The scrambled eggs were either too watery or just plain dried out. The sausage links were not cooked all the way either. There was only a few slices of plain white bread or plain bagels for toasting.
Place is beautiful. Such a stunning view and the inside especially the king sized bed was super comfy! We’ve always wanted to stay in a treehouse and hope to be back again soon. Our pups also really enjoyed and you can’t beat a place that is totally pet friendly.

The breakfast was fine. The hotel is in a good location and well-lit at night. The staff was courteous and respectful. The room was clean. There was a variety of television stations, just needed a guide.
