Despite first impressions of the reception area, the staff were very nice. My room was perfect and so comfortable. I had a lounge with TV, kitchen area, lots of storage space, TV in the bedroom, along with a lovely king-sized bed. Bathroom had everything I needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me as five minute walk to the train station, restaurants close by and easy for my son to get to me from Iona. The breakfast area is nice, and although no cooked breakfast, still a good choice of food. I really like that there is a wash room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for use by guests.

Great value, room was good for 1 person may be tight with 2 people. Comfortable and clean. Some noise from people walking by on hallway. Fabulous breakfast. Had an issue with the desk light - have a staff member attend with straight away.

I was visiting someone special and this was my 1st time staying in the wakefield area. There were alot of store, restaurants, and the train station was in walking distance from our hotel. For our romantic getaway this area seemed to fit our needs very well, it was very nice.
