We picked the location because it was central to other areas we visited. We drove through Thomaston often, but didn't spend much time exploring the town. Seemed like a quaint little village. Some restaurants we would have liked to check out weren't open - maybe too early in the season (June 1-8) or lack of staff (a problem everywhere)

They did not have my reservation in the system.

They did not have my reservation in the system. I has to show my confirmation to which they honored. Continental breakfast was horrible. Coffee maker in room was broken. I asked for another and that one was broken too. The manager finally found another one that worked. When something was needed you had to go to the front desk to ask for item and there was never anyone at the front desk. You had to stand there waiting for someone to come from out back. The last evening there I gave up waiting and went back to room.
