I was not happy that the person who checked me in forgot to tell me that you must swipe your room key in the elevator to go to your floor. As a result I was stuck in the elevator and freaked out until the door finally opened and I realized I had to swipe the key. This is very important to tell hotel guests Prior to them using the elevator.

While many hotel chains have gone to cold grey decor, this Hampton had an old Hollywood theme and warm, inviting colors and textures. Plus the staff went above and beyond to be helpful, particularly Sam at the front desk. My husband was recovering from back surgery and Sam insisted on helping him get into the car and loaded our luggage into the back.
The rooms are fine, the TVs are large, and the pool is lovely. Surprisingly quiet room given that the hotel is right on Ventura Boulevard. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Kind and helpful front desk staff. This was our 3rd stay here and we will definitely be back. This was our 3rd stay at Tarzana Inn and we will be back again. We had an unexpected situation come up during our stay and needed extra time for checkout and the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating.
I was happy that the room was clean and had all amenities. My only complaint is price, but I understand that prices for everything is high right now. So, really it's not a complaint about your hotel, just frustrated on overall economy at the moment. Thank you. We will most likely stay here again. We will be coming back once a month this year for a sports event, so see you next month!
This is an older hotel but the rooms are nicely renovated. They had two different types of pillows on the bed, one flat and one plush. I had never seen that before, even at Hiltons.
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Well the price I was supposed to get from trivago said that the room was $25 cheaper than the actual price on tarzazna inn listing on booking so that was the only con. I was able to get early check in and late check out. The pool was able to use but I didn’t bring my trunks so I didn’t get to use it. Another time! ;)
stayed only one night, so not a lot of input. Check in attendant was very nice and accommodating, made it very easy. Rooms were very clean and lot options for meals close to hotel, so that was good. Enjoyed our stay even if it was for one night.
It was my second time staying at this hotel. It was as comfortable as the first time. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. It was the cheapest in the area and was a good value. I'm likely to stay a third time.
