Beautiful countryside and mountains! People are friendly. The traffic was a bit heavy, which I guess is to be expected in a touristy area. I will not use any rental agencies to book events/activities again. They are tourist traps!!

Beautiful and location is great for tourist attractions such as pigeon forge, dollywood and Gatlinburg. Are all right within a 15 mile drive. State park is gorgeous. Cities and country areas are within a short drive. Loved it!

There is always something to do here.
There is always something to do here. The drawbacks are pretty simple: it is packed with people. So if you want seclusion, this is not your place. While there are many nice restaurants, I've never gotten a great meal here.

Perfect town in the mountains with everything you need, off the beaten path with privacy, but close enough to everything you need! Very short beautiful drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and The Smokey Mountains National Park.
Location wasn't far at all from the convention center which is where we needed to be all weekend. We've stayed at so called "3 star" hotels in the same local area that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. This place is definitely worth a 3 star rating imo. Price was excellent & Location was just as great with local diners to walk to & a grocery store all within walking distance if you wanted to. We'll be staying again next year.
All of the rooms have balconies facing the river. We loved watching the birds and relaxing while gazing at the water. The motel is within walking distance to many restaurants, which we enjoyed… not having to drive so much in the crazy traffic. The staff were all super friendly and helpful! Basic motel but clean and extremely convenient. Great value for the money and we will definitely stay again! Highly recommend!
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable, updated, and clean. The breakfast was more than what you typically get at other hotels. The staff even made the beds and restocked the towels each day. The outside pool even had a small lazy river. It is very close to all of the local attractions in the area.
Our room was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows. The towels were big and fluffy. The AC worked well. Great water pressure in bathroom. We had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo and soap provided. Great place to stay and the price can’t be beat!
Front-desk service was very helpful. Rooms large and clean. Tony Gore's Smoky Mountain BBQ & Grill, rec by hotel, was a blast ... We met Tony and his sidekick at the close of their day (4 pm) and ordered a full stack of ribs, which lasted two days!
The location for this hotel was great! The staff was incredibly friendly. They even gave us their own personal bottle of water when there were none!! They were so nice. The beds were also very comfortable. The hotel is very clean!
