Our view of the bridge was awesome! The location was wonderful also. It was easy to find and there were restaurants and stores very close by. We were given casino vouchers which was a happy surprise.
Welcome to Quality Inn Lakefront, ideally located on the shores of Lake Huron.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast is always a plus when we stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I liked how close it was to the ferry dock and the staff were nice. The pancake machine was kind of cool too.

Very clean overall with nice comfortable bed and nice bathroom! Staff was great!
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again.
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again. This time, we stayed at the Voyager Inn, it was okay but not great. Next time, we’ll camp at Straits State Park like we did the first time. We’ve taken Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island both times, and it was great. If you’re bringing your own bikes, it’s cheaper to pay for them to ride the ferry with you than to rent bikes on the island.

Interesting city, lots of history. we find it’s a good place to stay as between the Upper peninsular & Lower Michigan thereby visiting both cities of Mackinaw City & St Ignace and their offerings. Clydes is a great old school hamburger drive in restaurant & across the street is the Truck Stop restaurant with great breakfasts.

You already should have a record all of the communication…it was considerable, with a complete lack of understanding, or sympathy, buck-passing. I admitted I somehow made the error…I started the process IMMEDIATELY….I explained, I implored them, I was willing to pay a penalty, and last, but not least, I will try not to stay at a Quality Inn again. I hope your company never makes simple mistakes…it was in USD, to boot…

We loved Joses cantina for Mexican food - it was busy on a Friday night, but the food was great and had live music. As always the shoreline drive is a sight to see, walking on the beach and exploring the Tahquamenon Falls is great for a drive.

This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago.
This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago. Former governor deeply hurt the state years ago and the tourism and a lot of people were forced to leave the state to look for work. The present Governor is continuing to destroy the state and the tourism industry. There's a lot of former great shops and tourists attractions in this town that have closed up over the years. St ignace has the better motels and Mackinaw city has better shops and attractions.

The prices seemed much better in St.
The prices seemed much better in St. Ignace than they were south of the bridge in Mackinaw City. Breakers was a steal for the price and the staff service was excellent. Please note that if you struggle with stairs, this resort will be challenging for you. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.
This Motel is absolutely spotless. Not a piece of dust on the floorboards not a water spot on the sink. We've stayed in lots of motels all over....the persons cleaning this motel are exceptional. Check in and out was fast. Bed was comfy. Good location to ferry docks if you're visiting the Island and owner sells discounted tickets. A cute UP Motel, well taken care of.
I loved the welcome feel of the room. There was a lantern for a night light, real coffee cups/pot and adored the decor. I cherish "mom/pop" motels over stagnate big corporate hotels. If we had more time, we would of liked to take advantage of the location; near the water. Kelly was an awesome host and was very accommodating. The rooms are updated and adorable.
The view from the hotel balcony was stunning and the beach was clean and of a good size. The free kayaking was a really enjoyable bonus. The fire pit was a nice way to end the evening. The location was good for getting to Makinac Island. There was an outdoor seating area for breakfast with views over Lake Huron.
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great location! Can walk to the best food in northern Michigan “Buoys By The Bay” 2 doors down! Free parking, well lit lot…front desk was incredibly attentive and friendly. They don’t have King bed rooms, but 2 queens was actually a great and spacious alternative!
It a glorious view of Lake Huron and Mackinaw Island!
Bayview had bonfires nightly and it was great to sit around and talk with fellow travelers!!!
My daughter and her friend enjoyed the huge rocks they would sit on them and just look at the beauty of Michigan!
We loved this hotel. We especially enjoyed the waterfront area. The picnic tables, chairs, fire pit and beach area were a nice touch. It was also close to the casino. We also appreciate that you are pet friendly. We will stay again.
The staff was awesome! The view spectacular! The hotel was a little dated but it did not disappoint. Continental breakfast had a good variety. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The whole hotel for that matter was very clean.
The care and attention that goes into the running of this hotel are clearly evident. I found the room delightful and comfortable. Enjoyed chatting wit7h the innkeeper at check-in and receiving dining recommendations.
The bed was nice and firm! Actually one of the best beds I've ever had at a hotel. Perfect weight blanket too. Very clean. Great food next door at Johnnie's.
