Staff very helpful and friendly. Facilities and staff were reminiscent of an older era (in a good way), where customers are treated well and everything is intuitive and easy.
This Sault Ste. Marie hotel offers many full-service amenities including free WiFi, a free full breakfast, free local calls and free weekday newspapers.

The staff when we arrived were fantastic and very friendly. It was great to deal with someone who had a sense of humor and a happy disposition when we arrived.

Breakfast was good with a nice variety of food but the hotel was busy and by the time we got there just half an hour after it opened, the eggs and sausage were cold and the juice containers were empty.

Front desk clerk on arrival - long day? We were late arrivals and cold reception
Hot protein for cont bkfst would have been nice...
Booking and/or Super 8 killed any discount of high Canadian charges... both blamed the other for not being able to use AARP or AAA...
2nd day clerk better, bkfst good except for no hot eggs
We did Agawa train so little time for anything else in two days...

There was a large number of eateries on Great Northern Road just south of the camp ground.
Driving about was chaotic - some streets very poorly laid out. Even our GPS units were confused.
We came to SSM late afternoon Monday to ride the train to the Agawa Gorge all day Tuesday and then return 700 km home on Wednesday.

My husband and I were just travelling through.
My husband and I were just travelling through. The city is pretty but our motel was horrible. We were near the airport and the sound of planes taking off and landing was difficult to sleep through. The people next to us were up all night and were going in and out all night. Would not recommend staying at the location we stayed at.

The Sault is easy to get around in and there are many things to do and see. I was impressed with how clean it is and how friendly people were who I interacted with.

Very difficult to drive with so many streets dead ends, blocked off, change names, 3 become 1, difficult to get map, train and hotel close together, were not there to shop as has many the same stores as Thunder Bay, train ride relaxing , temp too hot!!! Train ride easy to book , confirm and get tickets, coloured leaves would be nice but I grew up with them, appeared to be a very clean city,

ugly town with a natural park between the town and the river. The park has beaver dams and salmon/trout fishing in really fast and dangerous rapids with slick rocks if you're a bold wade fisherman.
