We were in town to buy a car and were surprised by the modern growth of Ocala which we had not visited in a number of years. We were treated to a beautiful experience. The Porsche dealership was one of the best or plainly the best I've dealt with having owned a number of these fine cars. The Hilton was far above what I had imagined and the rolling pastureland hosting equine wonder was gorgeous. I think this must be one of the up-and-coming cities in Florida and it's location in the inland northern part of the state is much more convenient for travel and relatively safe from rising waters and hurricanes.

Ocala is filled with loud cars, loud obnoxious music, speeding cars and the police doesn't do anything about it. However, if I had a taillight out, I'm sure I would be stopped. Ocala is not a good destination to visit.

Downtown area, the Paddock Mall, and the airport area. We ate at Red Lobster, Golden Corral and Oceans Buffet, all were good. There are a plethora of eating places in Ocala. The traffic in Ocala is quite congested, but the street grid is easy to navigate.

The museum in Ocala was breathtaking, with a large and diverse collection of Asian artifacts , European art, and modern painting and sculpture.
The horses we saw on the drive there are gorgeous. The farms are pristine.
Ocala has a lot of traffic and long lights, just saying. We did not eat anywhere memorable and our room did not serve breakfast.
The trip to the museum made the entire experience for me. Lovely gift shop also.

The rooms smelled of mold the hallways smelled of mold.
The rooms smelled of mold the hallways smelled of mold. They did not clean the rooms daily. I had to get my own towels. They were not told to me that I had to request to change the tiles. They did not fix the beds or empty the garbage cans.

Quaint downtown. A lot of good looking restaurants.
Quaint downtown. A lot of good looking restaurants. The Ocala National Forest and surrounding attractions look nice. When thinking of Florida, people picture beaches, the theme parks of Orlando and the nightlife of Miami. Central Florida in general and Ocala in particular are a treasure that seems over looked.
Every detail that the staff puts in for the room and our experience is amazing. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. We only stayed for one night but I know for a fact that we will definitely book again in the near future and for a bit longer to enjoy more the facilities. All the hotel and the room are very clean. I loved for a fact that we were able to use the hot tub and pool very late. This hotel is beautiful and out standing.
I was in Ocala for two evenings. The first night I had booked a different hotel across the road which I wasn't entirely happy with. Once I checked into this hotel I was kicking myself for not staying here the night before. I love this hotel. It's quiet, calm, clean, the staff are super friendly and the rooms are so spacious!!! Oh and the wi-fi works great!! We will be back!!!
Restored historic motel, done right. I am often hesitant at historic or vintage, but the Silver Princess was better than any chain hotel we stayed at on our trip. The staff are wonderful, the room very clean and comfortable. My only issue was no coffee. However, there is a Ractrak across the street that has great coffee.
We stayed here on our way to Disney World. The front desk clerk was so welcoming! We were upgraded to a king suite, & received a text that our room was ready while driving to the property. The area around the hotel had numerous restaurants to choose from. The breakfast in the morning had many choices, all very good.
The service was great. We visited Ocala for a family event and had about 20 rooms booked. The staff got our rooms as close together as possible, no easy feat! Also, the property is very clean. The pool and cabana area are very nice for relaxing! The rooms were recently renovated and are very modern and clean.
Bed was clean and comfortable. Air Conditioner worked well. Bathroom was clean and shower, toilet and sink faucet worked as they should. Continental Breakfast was included and was decent. Cost for one night (Monday night rate) was one of the least expensive compared to other hotels in the Ocala area.
I really enjoyed how spacious it was, and the comfortability of the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling in this area. The parking pass they give you at check in gives you an extra layer of security and it was all around a nice place to stay.
The staff was very friendly and made sure not to disturb us while there. The pool was nice and clean.... the room was big had a nice shower and sinks and the bed was so comfortable I fell right to sleep over all a good hotel will be back there again
Price was great, Staff were helpful and courteous and Guest were very friendly, Felt safe and comfortable, Hotel was clean
would recommend this hotel to alone visiting this area, I sure will again. Keep up the good work!
Room was clean, check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. We were passing through on our way to get on a cruise. It is about 4 hours to Port Everglades and Ocala is a safe area to stay.
We liked how the breakfast place was separated from the hotel.
We liked that you had a variety of snacks, especially ice cream.
Trash cans near the elevator & sanitizer was good
Thank you.
Nice big rooms (Kingsize Rooms face the street - noisy, Queensize Rooms face to the side of the hotel - not so noisy), overall very very clean, nice gym facilities.
