Got to the hotel at 2:10 am after driving 9.5 hours. Called at 10pm and talked to front desk telling them that we’d be there around 3am. Front desk clerk told me it wasn’t a problem and to use the phone in the lobby and someone would check us in. Got to the hotel, after making two phone calls was told by the third party that took the call that the hotel marked us as a no show and already performed their audit and wouldn’t be giving us a room. Also, that there was no one at the property to even speak to about the issue. Was also charged for the room. After spending over a half hour on the phone I ended up having to leave and pay for another room at another hotel. Absolutely horrible service. Especially after I called ahead and we had driven so far and had to leave by 7:30 am. Very disappointed to say the least. Considering there wasn’t even an employee or manager at this site throughout the night, definitely a safety concern. I won’t book with them again.

We didn’t have the breakfast because it’s too expensive and there were six of us. It would be very nice since the room cost is pretty high if the breakfast was included.
The hotel was VERY CLEAN. Our room was spotless, the hotel uses all Dove products - shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Dove products for lotion and hand soap. No “no name/off brands” here. The breakfast bar was excellent - biscuits and gravy, cheese Omelettes, sausage links, bacon, toast, breakfast pasteries , bagels, juice, coffee, milk, just everything!!! I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE and EVERYONE. Very relaxing experience.
I liked everything for the most part. The sliding privacy curtain wasn't expected and came in handy. I can't speak on the towels or dishes in the room because I, for the most part, dont use hotel towels or dishes.
But the dishes looked clean. The fridge was clean, as was the sink and countertop. I never opened the dishwasher, so I can't speak on it.
I never checked any drawers either.
The staff was OVERLY helpful in explaining best practices for booking multiple rooms and what hotel amenities were. They went over and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and safe. The coffee was pretty great quality, and was offered at night as well as for breakfast time, which is a plus when travelers get in a little later in the day.
Location is safe and convenient, near highways and there's a Meijer (grocery store) down the road. Plenty of free parking. Wifi was good. Cable TV.
Nothing fancy, but served its purpose as somewhere to crash for 2 nights while my days were full of errands and activities. I needed to be between Ann Arbor and Detroit, and this place served that purpose.
Facilities were awesome. No wait time to check in or check out. The location on Haggerty Road was perfect to where I needed to be for Monday night banquet on North Orchard Lake Road and for Michigan District Council of the Assemblies of God (W. 13 Mile Road)
