The guesthouse is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The smart TV allowed for movie streaming too. Bathroom was clean and spacious!
Although there was some issues with the wifi during our stay, it wasn't a problem for us. All is good!
The property management company did make an exception for us tourists, who didnt have local digital payment options for collecting the USD350 deposit.

It was 10 min away form universal studios. I believe is like 1 star hotel so don't have high expectations. Staff was friendly and courteous, there was a urine smell coming from the shower that made me feel uneasy over the overall cleanses of the room. Grateful that eventhough I book the room through booking, they worked with me to check out early with a promise of a refund.

I went to a play at El Portal Theatre, a beautiful theatre that's bigger on the inside.
This seems to be a dangerous site, on my way to the pharmacy I saw two men carrying a bunch of women's bags, they seemed to be running away from something.
I was also being followed on my way back to the hotel, and at 1 block distance I had to request an Uber to drive me there, as I was too worried something would happen to me. Uber knew spanish so he helped me feel a bit safer.
The place is busy but there's not as much traffic as I was expecting. The surroundings are full of live, both in day time and night time.
There's definitely a lot of homeless people too.
The morning I was checking out I went to Casita Taco, located in 11300 Magnolia Blvd. The food was delicious but I have a feeling that Mexican food around here is treated as fast food, served in disposable plates and cups. Staff was lovely though, and the prices were great.
I would love to stay around here when visiting again though, it was a short visit but I learned a lot.

was a very good location for us going to the Rose Parade and other events with it. Not far to drive.
Had trouble finding nice restaurants. Only small mexican, chinese or pizzza places. Did not see a grocery store any where. Were many small places.

Service is great everywhere. Many options for different services. Authentic Thia massage was exactly what I needed. So many different things to see. Many free and easy to get to. Gorgeous views of mountains and forest and the hills of LA are stunning. You must be a good, confident driver to travel a lot around the area.

Local restaurants and galleries were awesome. Walk around and you'll find lots of little gems to enjoy.

We came to Hollywood specifically for a concert at Vitello's. As a resident of Southern California, Hollywood is only a little over 2 hours away. We would like to come back sometime and visit the movie studios and some of the other tourist attractions.

Very Clean & Modern. Rooms had everything you would need. Close to Universal & plenty of bars & restaurants near by. Staff was nice & helpful.
Booked two rooms and both were very comfortable & clean. Bathroom had great lighting to get ready & there was also a desk to sit & get ready by the windows. I’m not a picky person since I’m not the type to stay in a hotel all day my main concerns are always cleanliness & comfort and they for sure delivered. Worth the money
Currently the hotel does not provide food and beverage services, room service or laundry. However, there are many good restaurants nearby, the area is safe to walk and on site parking is relatively cheap at $10/night. There is a coffee and juice machine on site - very welcome early morning. There is a large park for those who want to run or walk during the day and good freeway access for all parts of LA. It is a smaller facility and perfect for these Covid times.
Location is close to universal Studios but what really made our stay comfortable was how clean the room smelled. That was a plus for me and they even replaced the towels the next day. Not a lot of hotels do that anymore. The front staff who checked us in was really nice and made us feel comfortable too. Great place and cost wise as well. We will be staying here again in the future.
The room, lobby, and Hotel are very old. The stairs and outside walls were not very clean. However, the room inside was very clean and had lots of space. The bathroom was a little small and old but did what it needs to do. Considering overall, the price was a little too much for this Hotel.
Make sure you read the fine print when you book, they charge $5.00 per day for parking.
Location is safe as we can see there is a security guard. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is good and very comfortable and spacious room. And most of all clean. I highly recommend this hotel. Not to far from universal studio Hollywood.
The room was clean, AC worked good, beds were comfortable, parking was easy to access, neighborhood wasn't the best but once going into the parking lot of hotel, it was a different environment. Quiet area.
Have all things to be a good place to stay, but They doesn’t worries with a specific things! Like a Pillow, Towels, Soap, Shampoo and Bedding! The motel 6 is better ! AC was too dirty!!
Upon checking in, the front desk person was wonderful. He was so helpful and welcoming! He made the place feel very homey. The hotel is a bit dated, but for the price, well worth it!
