Was not allowed to stay do to a pet. The online information said pet friendly and was told at check in they did not allow pet and not Holiday inn express allowed pets. We have stayed their in the past but it did not matter. We were going to stay two nights but were charged as a no show.

Loved the style and ambience - maintained despite refurbishment taking place of the fourth floor. Lounge area is superb with excellent complimentary coffee. Room was very comfortable and well equipped. We could also walk to many city sites of interest. Parking was right alongside and a path dug out in the heavy snow. Excellent breakfast place just across the street - ‘Egg-Cetera’.
This is an exceptional place to stay. Check in to check out was amazing. The check in process was fast and easy, room was wonderful, food was great, staff is very friendly, no matter which part of the facility you are enjoying. Can't wait to stay on our return trip home.
Location was good. Had a softball tournament in Derby and all other hotels nearby were sold out. My husband was happy to be able to go to the casino at night after games.
Bed and pillows were comfortable and air conditioner worked really well.
