I was overcharged and the hotel actually lied about me checking in as a birthday party guest which I was not. I am trying to get my refund, but no one will listen. I am not happy at all with Booking.com or the hotel.

The people were great, the place clean, food options for breakfast good, but that pool water is freezing, and the beds were too soft for my husband and pillows to soft for me. Sleep is important, and being able to enjoy the pool as something to do there were important for me. Otherwise I would give a perfect score. Maybe try a firm mattress and soft mattress in the double rooms. Same for pillows, mix them up. My husbands back was so bad and the crook in my neck was a pain. I would still come back though, just can’t stay long with the sleeping accommodations.

I stayed here twice, on the way through town and back. I found it to be a sufficient place to call base while I visited some areas in Philadelphia. It's not a short drive from there, but its close enough, while being safer and more reasonably priced. Many amenities and town. I would certainly make this my base again on future trips.

Malvern is a small little town right near historical Valley Forge. I grew up here and it is just beautiful. Plenty of woods and little town life. It is getting built up and is a fabulous place to visit. The Wegman's there is the best I have ever seen. The Desmond hotel is a beautiful stay. And it's not far from Philadelphia if you wanted to see a show or the night life scene. Also King of Prussia Mall is so close, all the shopping you desire!

The hotel was very clean and modernized. The continental breakfast was good with their own waffle maker. Beds and pillow were very comfortable. we stayed in one of the suites and it had a very homie feel complete with its own little kitchen area including a full mini stove and a medium sized fridge. sofa bed in the "living" room area with a small 4 chair dining table and bedroom w 2 queen sized bed. bathroom was also roomie with a walk in shower. also had an indoor pool, gym and laundry.

The location and hotel staffer, I believe her name was Kionna, she did everything she could to find an acceptable room, ultimately she refunded the lodging cost and we were able to book at another hotel. She was nice, told us she felt bad that we were leaving and was willing to check every available room to satisfy us.

The location of the hotel was perfect!!! Close to several gas stations and groceries stores, made it very easy to stock our fridge with food to cook for our nightly family dinners. It is also less than a mile from a Target which made some last minute dorm shopping easy.

Very charming, historical building for a bed and breakfast. Room was large and well appointed with antiques. New shower head had excellent water pressure even on the 3rd floor. The absolute BEST thing was the friendly and accommodating staff.
