Hadn't realised it was on a main road so needed to use taxis all the time.
Sonesta Simply Suites Nanuet features bright, modern suites with fully-equipped kitchens. It is located next to Spring Valley Marketplace Shopping Center.

We got the suite and it was perfect. Having a kitchen with a full size fridge helped a lot. The bed was super comfortable.

Know the area from past visits to our storage unit and friends. Within hour of NYC and allowed us to escape the extreme heat and possible blackouts.
Many restaurants and gas statio in the area . Located just at the start or end of the NYS Thruway.

Mahwah is a small quaint town but is bustling.
Mahwah is a small quaint town but is bustling. The people here are very courteous and friendly. The only negative is that there were no easily accessible shopping malls but there were a few stand alone department stores just no one stop shopping experiences. Otherwise it was great!

· The regular staff kindly, The view amazing, the breakfast staff not the best but the diner staff is perfect. The old man is my favourite :)
· The bathtube was f.ucken dirty. My partner had to cleaning at midnight... It was full of black hair my partner is brown... One more things. When i chose the room, I do because of the pictures. But under the king room was a beautiful picture about (It was further out) Club Level King Room. If I had known I choose that one because we wanted that room...
Stay in the hotel for about 13 days; overall, it just ok. Not clean as expected, but the price is higher than others. The pool is closed, restaurant too. The room is small and doesn't like a 350 sqft. Tv Chanel is just basic, and the TV is an old model, does not have Netflix software included. After 13 days' stay, we move to another hotel, Sonesta. It is cleaner. The room is bigger and the price is lower. The same location as doubletree, highly recommend.
I didn't like anything. I was harassed from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. Substance abusers, prostitutes and immigrants are living in these hotels. When they see an African American, they presume you're a prostitute and start pandering for sex. Most of the staff are immigrants. They condone and support the behavior as a part of their discriminatory harassment.
The breakfast was pretty good. I wish the god dame people at the desk would take cash for purchasing food. There’s one lady she is really excellent about accepting cash for purchases in the food market inside hotel next to the desk. I enjoyed the pool, the water was warm and nice. I enjoyed the fitness center. It felt good to get some exercise in.
The buffet style breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located 15 min from palisades mall and there is a nice restaurant just outside the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.Their pool is a decent size and our kids had a blast.
The hotel is very nice and well situated although road 17 isn't the easiest road to travel on. The room was spacious with a separate living area. The breakfast was beyond our expectations compared to other hotels that includes breakfast.
Good breakfast, very clean facilities, pet friendly. The room had a full size refrigerator, stovetop, dishwasher and utensils and anything else you might need! Good side room as well, separate from the living area.
I didnt really like anything about this hotel. It was far below the standards of Hampton Inns. I'm actually a but shocked by what I had encountered in the short time I was there.
The hotel surrounding is wonderful.. you can see the mountain view. It’s very quite spacious and comfortable . The hotel is clean and sanitized. Enjoyed our stay.
