the other guest was rude and some of the staff
Checking in and out was extremely fast and easy. The receptionist was wonderful, and was more than happy to adjust our booking to a later check out.
The room itself was as advertised. Large size room, with a super comfortable large bed.

The shuttle experience is a huge mess with waiting time more than an hour spent at the airport, no shuttle next morning even if they took more than 20 min to scheduled one, no help for anything, no bills at the end either by computer or paper even when I asked etc

The Acme grocery store next to the Kenilworth hotel is excellent. People seemed to be very friendly. I needed to pick up some items from the Walmart about 2 miles away, easy drive, and it was a great experience. Easy drive, and very helpful and friendly employee at the pickup area.

We love the kenilworth.
We love the kenilworth. It is always clean and the staff members we came in contact with are very nice and good at what they do. The furnishings are up to date and parking is free and easy. We also appreciate the free airport shuttle.
The Kenilworth exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I checked in, the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in NJ.
The Kenilworth provides very comfortable accommodations in a spotlessly clean hotel for a reasonable price. It is convenient to Newark Airport WITHOUT being located on one of the ugliest and most confusing highway complexes in the western world (US 1&9). In addition, the town of Kenilworth has some excellent white-tablecloth restaurants and a very good diner within walking distance of the hotel.
The hotel is ok, but it is a bit hard to reach. They provide a free shuttle to EWR airport or a nearby train station an hour away from NYC. I called them before booking, to ask if we could have the shuttle to and from NY each day of our stay. They said it would be possible so I reserved for a third night after the two we initially planned to stay.
The whole staff was friendly attentive and our stay was pleasant. The lobby is welcoming and our room was clean and comfortable. Airport shuttle service was a priority. They arranged for complimentary Lyft transport when the hotel shuttle was not readily available.

Ultimately, this hotel seems to be the best value place to stay in the nearby area. The rooms are fairly quiet, which is another great quality if you're just looking for a simple place to stay over night. The staff here have also been very nice.
Room is large and clean. Beds are comfortable. Very good location near shops, highway, Newark airport. The staffs are courteous, helpful. Special thanks to Sebastian for arranging an Uber ride from the airport to the hotel.
I chose this hotel because they offer a free shuttle or Lyft service to and from the airport in Newark. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean but a bit outdated, but all ok in the room. Staff friendly. TV and internet all good.
