Was not impressed with the staff, breakfast was featured as a free benefit, yet there was none. Hairdryer was broken and no alternative was offered. Blackout curtains were 4 inches too short, so sunlight streamed to the room at daybreak. This was especially annoying, since my flight was six hours delayed and I was looking forward to a restful sleep. I had alerted the hotel staff to my late arrival, and checked in again, when I arrived at the airport, with phone call alerting them to further delays.

Staff was great!
Staff was great! Allowed us to check in early without prior arrangements which made it extremely convenient! We were able to spend the entire day on the beach AND than we were able to spend the evening on the Coney Island Boardwalk :-)
We didn't need a 5-star hotel; we needed a clean room and a bed, because we were visiting with family nearby for the weekend.
Our room was clean (no bad smell), convenien (10 minutes to family), and the bed was comfortable. The people I had interchange with at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
It was perfectly as we expected in the price range of the room. Would stay there again!
The hotel was easy to book. I communicated with the hotel before we arrived to make sure they knew we were late. We travel with booking.com all the time, and have never had anything like this happen before. It's the worst feeling ever when you go to check-in, and your room was sold, you're tired, and all the local hotels are sold out.
Maybe was just luck that it was quiet. With motels and hotels it’s all the good or bad luck of who else is staying there and whether it’s a party night of the week like Sat night. Room itself was comfortable as far as I can recall. The other staff were fine except the one that kept me waiting - see below.
Location ,cleanliness and staff...George at the front was pleasant...king room is spacious quiet area with lots of food places..will definitely stay again...thanks for good service..i recommend this place.
The bathrooms were upgraded and big. But the hotel is in excess need of repairing and ugrading inside and outside. Lobby only has space for two people.
